Full Mouth Reconstruction

Full mouth reconstruction improves the appearance of the teeth and has a number of less obvious benefits. Full mouth reconstruction is one of the most comprehensive forms of dental treatment that is currently available.

Typically, the treatment involves the application of white fillings, dental bridges, Dental Implants, crowns and veneers to multiple damaged teeth in the mouth. While it requires a huge amount of effort on the part of a team of skilled dental professionals, it is widely considered to be preferable to offering patients removable dental restorations such as dentures.

Studies have shown that people with removable denture solutions are only able to chew at between 10 and 20 per cent of their potential – a problem that would not arise if they opted for a full mouth reconstruction with fixed restorations

Anyone considering a full mouth reconstruction should first consult with one of our experienced dentists at the Dulwich Dental Clinic, who will perform a comprehensive examination to see if the treatment is the best course of action.

If at any stage you feel that you do not fully understand the procedure, it is important to ask us for more explanations and further description of the work we plan to carry out. We will also provide you with a written consent form that will detail your treatment at length. Not only will this make the treatment – including the associated risks and benefits – easier to comprehend, but it could also prove useful if you decide you would like a second opinion.

To book your consultation with one of our highly experienced dental surgeons please call 020 8299 1334 and a member of our friendly receptionists will be happy to help you.
